Bekasi – February 5, 2020, at LSPR Transpark, The Amani Palladium Theatre, class 23-1SP presented their theatre performance entitled “Incoherent”.
This performance was the story of a girl named Noell, played by Bella Martha, a shy girl who recently moved to Beverly Hills circa 1980. In her new school, she meets new people with various characters, the friendly Chris, the cheerful Zach, the bully Rose, and many others.
Noell is such a clever girl, she often helps her friends to do their assignments. But apparently Rose and the gang dislike Noell’s presence at school. They keep on bullying her because they think that Noell is a freak and is not like them but she doesn’t remain silent, Noell dares to speak up.
As time goes on, Zach who is Noell’s classmate is amazed at the courage of Noell who wasn’t afraid to speak out about the abuse she experienced in class, especially by Rose and her classmates.
This theatre production guided by Mrs. Karina Indah Septiani S.Ikom and her assistant Mr. Cedric Louise Tanamas, S.Ikom. elaborates more about the twists and turns of our journey as humans. Noell with her anxiety and her difficulty in making friends turned out to be underestimated by her parents. They are not sensitive to the personal circumstances of their children who have difficulty in making friends, even though Noell suffered and her parents are the only support she has, but they also destroyed her and underestimated her how she was feeling.
Difficulties were also evident in Zach’s mother who is a drunkard and made Zach stressed by his mother’s condition. This is what makes Zach more or less interested in Noell. In the end, it is these secrets that make us human. Why must it be a secret from the start when being different is normal
