Bekasi – The international class Batch 23 presented a theatre performance entitled “PORILO: Poor Rich Love” which is the original script from Keren Louis and Tiffany Vania. The performance was held on Tuesday, 28 January 2020, at The Amani Palladium Theater, LSPR Trans Park Juanda, Bekasi. This theater was the result of guidance from Dr. Yasmine Gusman, S.H, MBA as lecturer Introduction to Performing Arts Communication, and Ms. Faradzyka Aurora Kencana, S.I.Kom as assistant lecturer Introduction to Performing Arts Communication.
A very is a strong and gorgeous young lady who was born and raised in a wealthy family, however, with all of the wealth that she possesses, it does not contribute to the happiness that she needs. Constantly feeling empty and lonesome dye to absence of love from her parents, not because of their passing, but because of their work and their constant appetite for money. She fills this emptiness inside by trying to surround herself with her only trusted friends over since she was a kid.
On the other side, Roberto is a handsome and independent young man who has never met his parents due to the unfortunate passing of both his mother and father after giving birth him. Born and raised as an orphan and in an underprivileged family, he relies heavily on the affection of his grandmother as well his benevolent and loyal friends.
The blossoming love between Roberto and Avery will be against the eyes of what society wants to see, even to their friends. This will lead to an obstacle that they both have to face, however, they are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to break that stigma and be with one another once and for all.
This theater was successfully held due to the hard work of Mauraqsha’s hard work as Production Manager, Karina Eunike as Assistant Production Manager. Janet Kurnia as Director, Omar Alatas as Assistant Director, Production Team, Stage & Set Design Team, Properties Team, Make-up and Wardrobe Team, Lighting & Sound Designer, Front of House Team, Ticketing, Marketing & Publicity Team, and most recently is the entire Main Cast and Supporting Cast PORILO Theater.
