Another successful LSPR Bali Workshop has come to an end with students wishing that they could stay and learn more! This workshop was something out of the ordinary and a first for London School of Public Relations because the workshop gave the students the opportunity to attend one of Asia’s biggest and very first ASEAN Public Relations Regional Conference in Bali, Indonesia.
Before the students made their way to Bali, they had a briefing in the LSPR Jakarta campus with different lecturers for specific subjects they were taking. During this briefing they were given the rundown and assignments they would need to perform and complete after the workshop. This involved a variety of subjects from Photographic Communication, Persuasive Communication, Ethics & Philosophy in Communication and Organizational Communication among others.
During the ASEAN Public Relations Conference the students focused on listening and taking notes about the speakers and the event itself. Starting off with some opening remarks from Ibu Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR and Irjen Polisi Dr. Petrus Reinhard Golose Head of Regional Police Bali, the event then moved onto its chosen topics and the speakers, which ranged from; ASEAN and People: Insights, Political Communications in ASEAN, ASEAN and the PR Industry, and ASEAN and the Global Community and much more.
This Bali Workshop was truly something new that offered LSPR students the chance to learn so much and build great networks with all the Public Relations professionals from different industries that attended the event. The students have come home with a handful of knowledge to help improve their chances in future career opportunities. If you missed out on this Bali International Workshop then make sure you attend the next upcoming one so you too can gain important insights and experiences!
