The LSPR Class PAC 19-1B presented a theatre performance titled as “HAIR” based on the controversial story of the 1960s. The show was held on August 6-7, 2018, at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall. The lecturer of this theatre is Mr. Andrew Trigg, B.Sc., M.A.
“HAIR” is an American tribal love-rock musical that calls for peace, love, freedom, and harmony in a time of conflict and division. “HAIR” remains relevant as ever as it examines what it means to be a young person in a changing world.
In the late 1960s, when the Vietnam war happened and America was bitterly divided between those who supported the war and those who opposed it. The hippy movement called everyone to reject the conflict, violence and unite.
In the age of “Aquarius” and a time of harmony and understanding, a tribe of hippies gathers on the stage. Geogre Berger (Aldy Inzaghi), Claude (Elhaq Latief), Sheila Franklin (Nadya Cassia), NYU student and Jeanie (Reska Primadita) get together and tell the problems of their life. Through the theatre, PAC 19-1B Indonesia would like to invite people to embrace each other and live in harmony despite difficulties and differences.(Rahmavida/Andi/Yuyun/Feisy)
