Over time children with special needs (ABK) develop into mature individuals. After passing through the phases of children and adolescence, they have grown to become adults who are able to be independent as well work and make money. Therefore, the London School Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA) held a seminar entitled “Parentpreneur: Creative Creating Employment for Autistic Individuals” on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Prof. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall – LSPR.
Three speakers presented at the event, Prita Kemal Gani – Founder of LSPR and LSBA, Sandy Adhitia – LSPR Lecturer and also Agung Bezharie – CEO of Warung Pintar. During the event, Mrs. Prita explained the types of businesses that have been undertaken by children with special needs in the countries she has visited. She also explained what should be done so that the business can survive. Sandy Ahitia and Agung Bezharie explained the business opportunities that can be undertaken by individual ABKs and what should be done by people around them, especially families in supporting the business.
