Bekasi – September 30th, 2019 – APRN, in collaboration with the LSPR Centre for Creativepreneurship Studies (LSPR CACS), held a seminar/talk show called ASEAN SPOT with the theme “PR & The Art of Branding” which is the sixth talk show of ASEAN SPOT. It was held on Monday, September 30th, 2019, in The Amani Palladium Theater, LSPR Transpark, Juanda, Bekasi. The talk show started with welcoming remarks from Mrs. Prita Kemal Ghani, MBA, MCIPR, APR as President of ASEAN PR Network. ASEAN SPOT 6th Talk Series “PR & The Art of Branding” invited H.M Ridwan Kamil, S.T,. M.U.D the Governor of West Java who was represented by Fajar Ginanjar Head of Publication, Coverage and Documentation Provincial Governor of West Java, as well as Noel M. Novico as the Deputy Permanent Representative Charge d’Affaires of The Philippine Mission, Marvie Samala as the Senior Vice President – Trade Partnership Lifestyle Category Blibli.com as speakers, and Magdalena Rosari Ndona – 4th Runner Up Miss Indonesia, Founder Student Beyond Borders, UN-Habitat Global Ambassador.

In her presentation, Prita Kamal Gani spoke about Public Relations (PR) and its function to build understanding and public interest about an organization. PR needs to be able to manage and to maintain its image, also distribute the right message to the general public. She also added, “based on a survey, the leader’s reputation in an organization is 45%. The rest is the staff, the logo, the product. It’s essential to have a good leader”.

Fajar Ginanjar, Head of Publication, Coverage, and Documentation Provincial Government of West Java said, “I have a message from Mr. Governor about public relations.” He continued, “being a PR professional is a big challenge, where we are obliged by the public to always give them the right information so that we can create a peaceful and secure life through the programs that have been prepared.”

ASEAN SPOT is a creative-networking platform of a collaboration result between ASEAN PR NETWORK (APRN) and LSPR Centre for ASEAN Creativepreneurship Studies (CACS) that started in September 2019. In the previous series, ASEAN SPOT has presented speakers from various background such as: Justin Green the President of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management PR Institue of Ireland, H.E.
