Bekasi – LSPR cooperated with Bekasi Metro Police by training Bhayangkari mothers of Bekasi Metro Police on how to start or foster a business. This training was specifically for Bhayangkari mothers who either already had a business or had not yet started a business yet. Womenpreneur x Bhayangkari included four sessions.
The first session was by Mr. Sandy Adhitia, one of the co-founders of Pijak Bumi shoes, who presented entrepreneurship material on the Business Model Canvas.
In the second session on Thursday, January 16, 2020, Mr. Mahadi Asman spoke about Basic Branding by. Mr. Mahadi Asman conveyed the important role Branding plays in a business, as well as the elements in Branding such as the purpose of branding, and the important role of a for a business brand.
In the second session, the Bhayangkari mothers were given the opportunity to ask questions and also consult about the businesses they already run, or the business ideas for businesses they want to run. Before the event finished, Mr. Mahadi Asman asked the mothers of Bhayangkari to write down the business ideas they had and wanted to carry out. This was for an assessment by Mr. Mahadi Asman and to be a consideration for the material presented in the next session.
Womenpreneur Workshop is still run under CACS (Center for Creativepreneurship Studies). As many as 40 Bhayangkari women will receive certificates after the four events have finished. LSPR also plans to collaborate with the Bekasi District Military Command, which is Persit women to conduct training such as the Womenpreneur. It is hoped that the training will help gradually improve the quality of communication in the city of Bekasi.
