Jakarta – LSPR Communication & Business Institute held a seminar entitled “Leaders: Bringing Higher Education Leading in Quality”, Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 09.00 – 12.00 WIB at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall LSPR Jakarta Sudirman Park Campus. The speaker at this seminar, Prof. Mike Hardy, CMG, OBE, FRSA Coventry University, UK and Mr. Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd, M.T Plt. Head of LLDIKTI Region III. The seminar was attended by LSPR lecturers and lecturers and management from several universities, including the Bhumi Husada Pharmacy Academy, Caraka Nusantara Analysis Chemical Academy, Pertiwi Tourism Academy, Hermina Manggala Husada Akper, IBM ASMI, Al Kamal Institute of Science and Technology, ITKJ, State Polytechnic Academy Malang STIK Sint Carolus, Jogjakarta Veterans National Development University, Respati Indonesia University, and Borobudur University.
LSPR Communication & Business Institute Prita Kemal Gani’s Founder & CEO MBA, MCIPR, APR, emphasized that “for 3 years, I have interviewed 36 women in the Woman on Top talk show with Prita Kemal Gani who proved that leaders need to have good persuasion skills to lead a team “. The theme of leadership that was raised and the story of the resource persons were expected to inspire the lecturers and management present.” Mr. Dr. M. Samsuri has successfully led LLDikti Region III, so that he won four awards at the 2019 Public Relations Public Relations Award. “Prof. Mike Hardy in the media, The Guardian, is one of the successful leaders because he listens to the aspirations of other communities,” said Prita.
Mr. M. Samsuri said that the success achieved by LLDIKTI Region III was due to teamwork. A good leader, needs to innovate, not only produce or create new products and services, but how to speed up a business process and service. A leader needs self-control, and hear the opinions and input from the team for mutual progress. “Leaders must be ready, solid working with teams, creative, ready to compete, and have good quality,” said Samsuri.
