Jakarta – LSPG Catholic Club paid a visit to the “Santa Anna” nursing home located on Jl. Teluk Gg. Mazda 41, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The purpose was to fulfill the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities of LSPG Catholic, and a means for members to feel how to give attention in the form of affection to those who lack it.

This CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity was the first carried out by LSPG Catholic, with the theme “Blast of Love”. This theme’s aim was to bring and share love and attention exemplified by the Lord Jesus to his people. In addition, through this event, the members gained lessons and reflections to be grateful for the life God has given.

The program was opened with a group prayer led by Ms. Cherie Mawuntu, S.I.Kom as the LSPR Communities Club Coordinator then speeches by Meliana Anastasya Mandey as Head of Event, and Amanda Dime as a representative of the LSPR Student League. The main event opened with brief gymnastics together, continued with entertainment by singing together, and not forgetting sharing with opa and oma. Through sharing together the members of LSPG Catholic can give their love to the opa and oma. The opa and oma were also invited to write down their hopes, with the aim of rebuilding a sense of enthusiasm in life, and channeling their hopes, and affections through these activities.

LSPG Catholic members also gave symbolic basic necessities, and handed over placards to the Elderly Home “Santa Anna”. After that, a group photo was taken between Catholic LSPG members with Opa, Oma, and the “Santa Anna” Nursing Home. This CSR event was closed with lunch with Opa and Oma. LSPG Catholic Members hope that through this event they can make a good start for their next CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities.
