Jakarta – Mrs. Yuliana R. Prasetyawati, MM, lecturer and Head of the Undergraduate Program in Management, had the opportunity to provide information or ways to overcome boredom when working from home (WFH). This information was published on Tuesday, 31 March 2020, on the LSPR Jakarta YouTube Channel.
“When we do WFH, we have done something positive by helping the Government to break the COVID-19 transmission chain process, so that we avoid crowds and avoid COVID-19 transmission. We need to wake up in the morning and take a shower, Work From Home (WFH) is not meant to make us lazy. We should continue to carry out activities as usual, so that we can be fresh and ready”. she said, giving initial tips.
Furthermore, she said to choose a favorite WFH place, create comfort at home that makes the spirit want to work. To be more enthusiastic in WFH according to her is to provide favorite food and drinks, which are healthy and nutritious so that you are not made drowsy, such as fruits, or juice.
Other tips according to Mam Anna (familiar greeting) from this student are; “Listen to your favorite songs, WFH while listening to your favorite songs will make you more excited, prepare playlists that will accompany work or study at home. Through Work from Home (WFH), we can work and also be closer to family. When we are bored or start to get tired, we can chat with family, with a time limit that we set so that our work productivity is maintained”, she said encouragingly.
What also should not be missed in WFH according to her is doing stretching to reduce pain and stay fresh. It is important to anticipate the long duration of staring at a laptop/computer screen or in a sitting position while working, “we need to be disciplined, make an agenda during WFH and follow the agenda that we have made so work productivity is maintained. Don’t forget to always keep clean too, like washing your hands to stay clean” she said ending the WFH tips.
