Jakarta – LSPR International Relations and Partnerships Office held their 3rd Webinar Series with International University Partners on 6 May 2020. The webinar featured previous exchange students from LSPR Mr. Reza Pahlevi who chose EU Business School, Germany and Ms. Janita Jaya who chose The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. The topic for this session was “Survival tips and Additional Experiences Gained While Studying Abroad”. The session was moderated by Ms. Past Novel and lecturer at LSPR Communication & Business Institute. This LSPR Webinar Series with International University Partners aimed at providing students with knowledge and experiences that can be expected when joining a study abroad program.

The session included discussion about first experiences when arriving at their chosen university and the accommodation they stayed at. The session continued into the topic of overcoming daily living expenses during their student exchange period and the differences between Indonesia and Europe. The speakers also discussed how they overcame the culture shock involved with studying abroad and the differences in university life including the social and academic aspects.

The session was concluded with some final tips and advice from both speakers when choosing a student exchange program. After the presentation was finished, participants were given the chance to ask important questions related to the study abroad topic. A total of 118 participants joined the webinar.
