Career Clinic Webinar Session 4: Sharing Experience with Expertise in BUMN

On Friday, 8 May 2020, LSPR Careers and Employability Centre held its 4th session of Career Clinic Webinar Series. This session’s topic is shared by Mr. Benny S. Butarbutar as Media & Communication Advisor to BDO at BULOG. He is also a former Vice President Corporate Communication for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia. During this session, Mr. Benny highlighted several tips for participants about his experience as the expert in BUMN. This webinar is moderated by Ms. Dewi Rachmawati, as Deputy Head of LSPR Careers and Employability Centre.

He talked about what professional is, in his perspective, three most important things for being professional are having an above average soft skill quality, being an ethical person, and being included in an organization. He also mentioned that the way of thinking is also very important. “Being holistic will help you in forming your career path, also you need to create a mindset about working hard for work smart” he mentioned. Besides that, Mr. Benny also told the participant about his formula, “Time x Effort = Capacity”. More than 100 participants joined this webinar and actively engaged, both from Undergraduate Students and Postgraduate Students.
