According to the academic schedule and letter from Programme Director in Undergraduate Communication Faculty LSPR, Mr. Mikhael Y. Cobis, M.Si, M.M, Mid-Term Examinations of Even Semester 2019 – 2020 for Undergraduate Programme that was held from 11 – 15 May 2020. The concepts of examinations are take home test, presentation or oral exam, everything happens through online, the pandemic covid 19 directs us to study from home.
Besides that, for the Postgraduate Programme, Dr. Rino F. Boer (Director of Postgraduate Programme LSPR) stated that Mid term Examinations students started from 11 – 16 May 2020. After that, the International Subject : Social Media for Business started from 5 , 6 & 9 May 2020. All the examination formats via online.
Online class and online mid examination has gone smoothly without any obstacles. “Online class and online examination are actually the same in what we did on campus, it’s actually technical matters, maybe the lack of signals. But overall, I feel safe to do the online session in this pandemic covid 19” said Oya, a student from PGP Transpark.
On the other hand, Aurel from PR 21 EXCL Class stated that study and online examination made her more productive because of the assignments with variety lecturing formats from Lecturers. “Train new skills, kept me motivated to do the activity because I found new experience” she added. The short statement from most of the students who have finished the exam, they hope they can go back to campus as soon as possible. “I really miss the campus vibes”, said Michael, one of the president class in Public Relations major.
