Jakarta – The academic atmosphere within the LSPR Communication & Business Institute environment is increasingly felt even though it is still in the new normal transition period. Batch 24 student orientation for the academic year 2020/2011 will hold its first virtual orientation tomorrow, 26 June, 2020. With a theme of “LSPR Freshmen Virtual Orientation 2020”, it will be attended by 600 new students. This concept is an LSPR adaptation process during the PSBB period to introduce the academic and non-academic environment.
“The reason why LSPR conducts virtual orientation is because LSPR wants to maintain and follow protocols from the government. This is done in the context of health protection for all new students who will be studying at LSPR “, said Vice Rector III of LSPR, Mr. Taufan Teguh Akbari, Ph.D.
That statement is in accordance with the New Students Campus Life General Guide (PKKMB) in 2020 through a circular letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture Directorate General of Higher Education. PKKMB is a vehicle for university leaders to introduce and prepare new students in the transition process to become mature and independent students, as well as accelerate the process of students’ adaptation to the new environment and provide provisions in achieving their education success in higher education institutions. In 2020 with the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, PKKMB activities will be carried out online by adjusting the conditions in each higher education institution area.
The LSPR Freshmen Virtual Orientation 2020 will be filled with various topics such as learning culture, student activities, procedures and regulations, and campus regulation at LSPR. LSPR Founder and CEO, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, will open the virtual orientation warmly in order to welcome new LSPR students. The Rector and Vice Rector of LSPR will also be participating in the virtual orientation. In addition, LSPR active students such as Prilly Latuconsina and Putri Sa’ud will also enliven the first term of virtual orientation.
