Denpasar, July 2, 2020 – LSPR Bali held WEBINAR with the concept of sharing session. LSPR Bali used “The Opportunity of Public Relations Profession in Millennial Generation” as a topic today. The webinar was hosted by Emilya Setyaningtyas, M.I.Kom as Lecturer and Head Communication & Reputation Department in LSPR Jakarta. The WEBINAR held publicly, the participants are from the college student and public. The sharing session started from 15.00-16.00 WITA. There are more than 70 participants joining the WEBINAR that is held on Google Meet due to the social distancing rules. All participants were seen to ask a lot of questions and engage in the topic today. Participants who joined in would be rewarded with E- certificate and NAP for LSPR Students.
Emilya said, public relations is about the reputation of what you do, what you say and what others say about you. She also said “You can’t have a good relationship without communication, good behavior, and mutual understanding”. It means to have good public relations we need to develop our communication skills, make good relations with others and have a good ability to listen and understand about others or the problem we face.
“To be a great public relations we need to read, study more, stay up to date, get an experience, have a networking, join a PR association that helps us to grow, we need to put a lot of effort to achieve the goals, because effort will never beat results” said Emilya. By explaining the opportunity of public relations in the millennial generation, the participants on the webinar will have new knowledge about the public relations work area, the importance of public relations in this era and how to prepare ourselves to be better and have a motivation to become excellent public relations. The webinar itself closed with some questions from the participants about the opportunity of the public relations profession in the millennial generation.
