Jakarta – Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah III held a College Public Relations Forum year 2020, at Binakarna Auditorium, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 4 August 2020. Public Relations Forum in Higher Education year 2020 invited 5 speakers, they are Head of LLDIKTI Region 3, Mr. Agus Setyo Budi, Secretary of LLDIKTI Region 3 Mr. Purwanto Subroto, General Substances Coordinator Public Relations Ditjen DIKTI Mr. Yayat Hendayana, Sub Coordinator PR Ditjen DIKTI Mr. Doddy Zulkifli, and Vice Rector I LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Ms. Janette Maria Pinariya.
In the implementation of Higher Education, the openness of public information is very important. This could optimize the surveillance of public interest where everyone has the rights to get information quickly. In this Era of Adaptation to New Habits, a college Public Relations must uphold the openness of public information, then to be more creative in creating and maximizing any communication channels so that messages could be delivered perfectly to the society.
LLDIKTI Wilayah III invited 100 colleges as a priority participant. Head of LLDIKTI Wilayah III, Agus Setyo Budi said that this Public Relations Forum is held so that colleges in Jakarta who haven’t had a Public Relations function, could form their own Public Relations. Even more, in this new adaptation era during this COVID-19 pandemic, the openness of public information is very important in the higher education world.
Vice Rector I of LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Ms. Janette Maria Pinariya explained about LSPR Strategic Preparedness and Response plan for the New Coronavirus. LSPR gives an excellence service programme in Online and Offline Program. LSPR published a big data analysis about the conversation corona issue in Social Media, LSPR also produced a creative content in website, social media, and communication platform containing entertaining, informative, humanity, health concern and educative content to LSPR Family. During Pandemic, LSPR also held virtual concerts by London School Beyond Academy, LSPR Choir Alumni, and LSPR Choir achieved Gold Award in BCS World Virtual Choir Festival. The importance is the agility, strong internal communication, updates on the communication platform to our stakeholders.
