Jakarta – In this modern era, where gender equality has begun to manifest itself perfectly, many female figures can be used as inspiration for women to achieve their goals, of course also to achieve their financial goals. Doing the role of women as Womenpreneurs, of course some many challenges and obstacles must be related. In supporting Indonesian women with a spirit of equality, KoinWorks wants to encourage the development of Indonesian women who are certainly not free from good financial management and planning. Starting from access to capital to invest, we discuss it in the special edition of MoneyDiary Talks this time with Ibu Prita Kemal Gani. In this webinar, Ms. Prita shares a story about how to help her financially. From a young age, Prita’s mother has learned to finance her finances because she helps a single mother because her father has died from her little Prita’s mother. Prita’s mother advised not to rush to spend the money. Prita’s mother played an important role in inspiring her, the mother was not a dictator but gave examples every day in her life. Ibu Prita also said that as an entrepreneur, we must try to be the best and try to maintain it and never give up because after we are hard, there will be a rainbow. Ibu Prita told about her finances, being an entrepreneur must first be skilled, have skills, and most importantly have a network. Starting as a PR Director, then she told that she started having 3000 USD to build an LSPR by dividing her finances to rent a building in the WTC and pay a fee for employees.
Mrs. Prita gives tips to women, even though we are successful in the office, we must also be successful at home for the family. Amidst her busy schedule, Ibu Prita thinks about many things for her family, thinks about what food is provided at home, then has time for her children to help with their school needs and so on as well as spend sports with the family. In her business, Ms. Prita has many female employees, because according to her, “We need a woman’s heart and feelings to make decisions”. Ibu Prita gave a message to Indonesian women in managing their finances, “If we have our own money we are more confident but should not be arrogant to our husbands. If we have money it does not mean we can be in power but must remain wise, and be humble and live our nature as a wife with respect to the husband. To save our money, we must have motivation. Don’t be afraid to dream because if humans don’t have dreams, their lives are unfocused. But we must achieve this dream with good and consistent efforts”.
