Jakarta – In the framework of launching the LSPR CACS into LSPR Center for Entrepreneurship, a zoom webinar was held (15/10) with the theme “Creative, Innovative and Solution – Fit: The Mindset of Entrepreneur”. This event invited Prof. Dr. Agus Setyo Budi, M.Sc (Head of Higher Education Services Agency Region III) and Prof. Drh. Aris Junaidi, Ph.D. (Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia) as a speakers. The webinars opened by Ms. Vitha Octaviany, MM.Par as MC and enriched with words by Mr. Alppy Valdez, MMC (Dean of Faculty of Business LSPR Communication & Business Institute), Mr. Taufan Akbari, Ph.D (Vice Rector 3 of LSPR Communication & Business Institute) and Mr. Andre Ikhsano (Rector of LSPR Communication & Business Institute).
Prof. Agus delivered the first material regarding Entrepreneurship Infographics in the LLDIKTI 3 Region. He explained that the Ministry of Education and Culture has a program called Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka which gives students the right to study for three semesters outside the study program or outside their campus, one of the activities is Entrepreneur. Prof Agus also explained the data that the number of students who are entrepreneurs always increases in odd semesters and decreases during even semesters. He hopes that the LSPR Center For Entrepreneurship can foster entrepreneurial interest and creativity of LSPR students so that the number of students who are entrepreneurial will always increase.
The program continued with information provided by Mr. Sandi Aditya regarding the latest incubation program from the LSPR Center for Entrepreneurship. This program is free and open to all LSPR students. In this program, participants will gain knowledge related to entrepreneurship and be guided directly by practitioners who are entrepreneurs. Mr Sandi also explained the schedule, time, and materials to be obtained.
The last material was delivered by Prof. Aris. He explained further about the entrepreneurship program Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka. The program has four excellent activities, namely Entrepreneurship Workshop, Indonesian Student Management Business Activities (KBMI), Indonesian Student Startup Acceleration (ASMI), and Indonesian Student Entrepreneurial Assistance (PWMI). Prof. Aris said that this program was the ministry’s flagship program because of the high interest and potential of the millennials generation in entrepreneurship. He hopes that the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka entrepreneurship program can add competence and foster entrepreneurial character for students and can generate new creative and innovative entrepreneurs.
LSPR hopes that the existence of the LSPR Center For Entrepreneurship and the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka entrepreneurship program can give birth to young entrepreneurs who are able to compete in the world of entrepreneurship. (Hanifah)
