Jakarta – Basic Leadership Training (LDK) is the final series of an annual Democracy Party activity conducted by the Student Affairs Department to determine and validate the LSPR Student League for the next period. LDK this time is a little different because it has to be implemented online, using the Zoom platform, Google meets and also broadcast live via Youtube LSPR Student League. Even though it was done online, it still didn’t detract from the essence of the event.

LDK was held for three days, starting from 30 October 2020 to 1 November 2020. LDK was attended by all managers from 28 clubs who were active in LSPR, the two cabinet candidates who were running for themselves and the committee who were the Student Affairs team, the 2nd Degree cabinet as well as Department trainees. Student Affairs. As in previous years, on the last day of the LDK, it was also announced that the President & Vice President of the LSPR Student League was elected, who had gone through a 4-day online Voting and Training process that was part of the Democratic Party series. Candidate Pair Number 1, namely Achmad Syaugie & Agnes Angela (Action Cabinet), and candidate number 2 namely Rio Alfando & Jeremy Zivanya (ACT2AL Cabinet) are experiencing very tough competition. This is evidenced by the final results of the voting for the two candidate pairs.

The Participants

A total of 1173 votes were netted during the online voting process for LSPR Communication & Business Institute students and staff. Of the total, 587 votes were for the AKSI Cabinet and 586 votes for the ACT2AL Cabinet. Then, the final result of voting from 184 Executive Committee, 4 Trainees and Cabinet 2nd Degree is 40.87% for AKSI Cabinet and 32.53% for ACT2AL Cabinet. The last day of voting by the Student Affairs Department and Vice Chancellor III, Mr Taufan Teguh Akbari, resulted in the percentage of total votes being 45.87% for the AKSI Cabinet and 52.53% for the ACT2AL Cabinet.

Thus, Rio Alfando & Jeremy Zivanya were elected as President & Vice President of the LSPR Student League 2020 – 2021. They will work with the ACT2AL Cabinet to help all Non-Academic activities, including also helping the LSPR Student League for 1 year. This year’s LDK is not only closed with the endorsement of the President & Vice President of the LSPR Student League for the 2020-2021 period and their cabinet, as well as the Student League Executive Committee for the 2020/2021 period as usual. But also inaugurated three new clubs at LSPR, including LSPR Badminton, LSPR Runners Club and London School Gaming.
