[HEADLINE] Virtual Kick Off Launching GET Program Alibaba – Topic: The Economy Experience on Digital

Jakarta – LSPR held Virtual Kick Off Launching GET Program Alibaba through Google Meets platform (20/11). This kickoff event was following the exciting news of LSPR becoming the first education institute partner to collaborate with the world famous E- commerce Company, Alibaba. This was also to introduce the GET program that will be held on the 27th of November 2020 to the first management batch of the Faculty of Business. LSPR Communication and Business Institute is taking strides in tremendous fashion in developing the business faculty.

Alibaba Group’s Southeast Asian arm, Lazada, supported LSPR’S participation in the GET program. After inspiring opening remarks from Mr. Alppy Valdez, M.M.C as the Dean of the Business Faculty and Ms. Yuliana R. Prasetyawati, M.M as the Head of the Undergraduate Programme in Management, Mr. Haikal Bekti Anggoro – Head of Seller Engagement and Traffic Ops Lazada Indonesia, gave explanations and descriptions about how the ecommerce industry works from Lazada’s point of view. Audiences in attendance were shown the ropes and given motivations on Start- ups. “Find the problem/ niche and throw yourself 110% into it” these closing words by Mr. Anggoro were thrown as a bone with hopes that it gets locked into the jaws of education.

Next, the GET Programme Lecturers Team explained the programme and what students should expect. Ms. Olivia Hutagaol, M. Si discuss on Embracing, Developing and the Future of Digital Economy. Mr. Sandy Adithia, M. A. B, emphasized topics regarding The Features of Digital Economy. Ms. Mary Lemona, M. Si educated about Digital Consumers. Ms. Dewi Rachmawati, M.Si, gave additional value through Transformation of the Traditional Industry. Ms. Xenia Angelica Wijayanto, M. Si, elaborates on Transformation of the organization. 

LSPR hopes that Batch 1 Management- Faculty of Business can enjoy the beginning of their educational journey. As the famous quote said by Jack Ma, “Once in your life, try something, work hard at something, try to change, nothing bad can happen.” Through trust towards the GET programme lecturers, surely, LSPR will continue to be one of the best through times.
