Jakarta – On Saturday, January 16 2021, a series of Webinar was held in line with the LSPR IR Festival on Climate Change Solutions as part of the final project for the subject Communicating Climate Change and Environment, Ms. Candy Hernandez as the Chairman Committee and Subject Coordinator for the said subject. IR students launched the series of Climate Change Solutions Campaign  through various social media platforms and conducted these series of webinars from all 4 classes divided into various groups and themes creating climate change solutions awareness. This year alone has created greater impact and has created viral campaign in promoting awareness using the #LSPRClimateChangeSolutions

As part of the webinar series campaign “Make Your Own Forest” (MYOF) collaborated with KEHATI Foundation for a webinar about the role of youth in climate change. The webinar was held on Zoom, at 4 PM-5 PM local time and was attended by Muhammad Syarifullah as a speaker, Public Relations and Education Outreach Manager of KEHATI Foundation.

Mr. Syarifullah explained about building awareness towards climate change issues

Moderated by Achmad Syaugie as the Creative Director of MYOF, the webinar brought the topics on the causes and impacts of climate change, and the activities young people could do to overcome them. These activities could be as small as energy conservation, changes in consuming behavior, and inviting other people to do the same.

Starting from personal changes, share the habits and benefits by contributing to campaigns with similar visions. The success of an idea requires massive support from the government, corporations, and us. In the end, big changes start from small things that are applied collaboratively and simultaneously.
