Jakarta – Friday, 23rd April 2021, celebrating Kartini’s Day, the Indonesian International Association of Business Communication (IABC) held a series of talks themed “Women in PR”. In the fourth episode, IABC Indonesia invited Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR as Founder and CEO of LSPR Communication and Business Institute as special guest. The event, which was broadcast via Instagram Live, was hosted by Donna Priadi as Director of Strategic Partnership, IABC Indonesia.

Through this talks, Mrs. Prita shared about her starting career in PR and finally deciding to build the LSPR Business and Communication Institute. Mrs. Prita said that the first time she liked PR was when she was doing job training in the PR Department. From there she decided to learn more about PR and continue his education abroad. Mrs. Prita not only wants to be a PR, but also aspires to have her own business, inspired by one of her professors when she was studying in Philippines. Until finally she succeeded in establishing a PR and communication school, LSPR.

Mrs. Prita shared future LSPR plans, namely developing hybrid learning and OMNI systems. LSPR lecturers teach at overseas campuses online, and vice versa. LSPR also supports the government program “Kampus Merdeka”, where other campus students can study at LSPR by taking certain courses, and also LSPR student can study at other campus by taking certain courses.

Finally, she gave tips that in order to move forward and survive in the world of PR we must always be disciplined, creative, willing to open up, collaborate, be diligent and be honest to ourself.
