The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology is a merger between the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the Ministry of Research and Technology (Kemenristek).

In the beginning, Pak Nadiem was assigned as Minister of Education and Culture since the beginning of the formation of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. Currently, Pak Nadiem is given the new mandate to become Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
