Jakarta, 2 July 2021, LSPR Communication and Business Institute in collaboration with Northumbria University, UK, held the LSPR x Northumbria 11th International Examination Short Film Production for Mass Media Management Students Batch 22. The examination was once again held virtually including the verification and the film awarding from Northumbria University for the top three best films from the total of 14 films. The jury or external verifier who assessed the best films in this webinar was Dr. Lee Barron, Principal Lecturer, International Recruitment and Development for the School of Design Faculty of Arts, Design & Social Sciences, Northumbria University, UK, who also gave the the award for the winners.

The 1st winner was given to “Kita Cukup, Mah” film from MMC 3TP. And then the film from MMC 2TP, “The Destiny”, was given an award for the 2nd winner. For the award of the 3rd winner was given to the film from MMC 3TP, “Crash”. Despite all difficulties and challenges that are faced by the crews, Dr. Lee mentioned that the overall quality of the films was really good and addressed a range of important themes and showcased various media skills very well. They utilised brilliant platforms by using technology and social media. They also have succeeded in choosing the right people for the right role in their films.
