Jakarta – Friday, 23 July 2021 marked the renewal of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between LSPR and UiTM, Malaysia!  For the following years, both parties have significantly collaborated in various programs such as Student and Lecturer Exchange, International Workshop, and others which led to the agreement of both parties to renew this lovely collaboration also hoping to enhance further the partnerships.

Associate Professor Dr Massila Hamzah, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies of UiTM shared how grateful they are for the collaborative effort between LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Jakarta Indonesia and Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia.  “UiTM is an established university with a track record of educational excellence and research and also dynamic program of collaborative and as many International counterparts. With the pandemic, with no slowing down and to reserve the SOP it is yet another chance to not be able to be there with familiar faces in Jakarta. Having LSPR on board for today’s MOU was a monumental effort that could witness stronger collaborative initiatives between two institutions for moving forward.  LSPR Communication and Business Institute known  as the leading communication School in Indonesia with a reputation of an outstanding academic institution in communication. Today, marked another milestone for all of us where we will be reviving the strategic relationship academic and curricular as well as  network linkages between us.  Today we are signing off another chapter of UiTM globalization efforts and international partners, and the purpose of this MOU to acknowledge ongoing long term strategic relationship between two institutions respectively, the signing also symbolize a partnership which we will believe to lead more initiatives that could produce new strategies and add academic values for both LSPR and UiTM  in years to come.”

On behalf of LSPR, Dr Janette also share the happiness with the renewal of MOU with LSPR even in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic.  “The MOU signing is one of LSPR’s contributions as a leading institution, it is imperative to develop a quality education which produces quality graduates who are competent, independent, creative, and innovative with special skills to compete at a global level. Learning transformation is needed to be able to prepare graduates to become a superior generation, more prepared and relevant to the needs of the times. LSPR Institute is proud to be a leader in the field of communication and business education in Jakarta, Indonesia and will continue to develop to be an acceptable and valuable educational institution not only for all the Indonesian people but also for the educational world in particular. With this MOU, we hope to be able to develop even more, especially during an agreement with Universiti Teknologi MARA. This collaboration is very important, especially to realize the spirit of education in the world. We could commit to working better, and more closely, towards common goals: the pursuit of comprehensive education, the availability of international opportunities, and research programs which will ensure graduates will become successful individuals in their selected careers.”

The MOU marked the new start for a series of collaborations such as Academic research collaboration, Exchange of students and faculty,  and other opportunities in the future. We are truly grateful for this opportunity and looking forward for the upcoming collaborative years!
