Jakarta – As a series of Digital Tourism Competitions, the LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Tourism Study Program held an Instagram Live on the @lsprjakarta account with the topic “Travel Vlogging & Photography Tips to Improve Your Engagement” on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. In this third series, LSPR invited Patricia Ranieta, Radio Announcer & Travel Content Creator as speaker and Kenyo Kharisma, Lecturer at Tourism Study Program LSPR Communication and Business Institute as MC.
Rani said when she first entered the world of traveling, she started as a presenter of Jejak Petualang for 3 years. She said “At first I was surprised but over time I became more and more enjoying it, and until now, I still travel with other brands, one of which is the Ministry of Tourism”. As a travel content creator, Rani also shares tips on building an audience for beginners to always consistent and willing to learn. “Besides that, build as much networking as possible, participate in events, and learn from seniors. Lots of friends so that we can learn together and don’t be shy about asking,” she added.
Rani shared her experiences visiting tourist destinations in Indonesia, including festivals organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy such as Jakarta Dessert Week in DKI Jakarta and the Jailolo Bay Festival in North Maluku. As one of the Influencer Judges in the 2021 Digital Tourism Competition, Rani invites the audience to take part in the competition held by LSPR in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Finally, Rani advised potential participants not to be afraid to show their uniqueness. “Put Your Character in Every Creation,” said Rani.
