Jakarta – Guru Jago Kelas Online is a workshops & competitions for teaching materials for students with special needs organized by the London School Beyond Academy. This workshop is divided into several sessions with different materials. On Thursday, September 9, 2021, LSBA held the 4th session of the workshop with the title ““Biar Gak Garing Belajar Daring Pengembangan Aplikasi Explee” through the Zoom platform which was presented by Mr. Bilal Wegig Wirawan S.Pd as a teacher at LSBA.

Mr. Bilal shared his experience and knowledge about e-learning. According to him, in the concept of e-learning, teachers play a major role in controlling learning. Teachers should be able to adapt teaching strategies for e-learning so that students don’t get bored just staring at the screen. Therefore, the teacher must be able to deliver interesting and easy-to-learn material. “Interesting material must be juxtaposed with technology,” said Mr. Bilal.

Mr. Bilal demonstrated how to use Explee

One technology that can be used is the Explee apps. Explee is an application to create animated videos that can help teachers make subject matter that is more interesting and easier for students to understand. After introducing what Explee is, Mr. Bilal demonstrates how to use Explee. While listening to his explanation, the workshop participants were asked to try using Explee. Mr. Bilal hopes that the knowledge he shares can be useful for the workshop participants in adding insight and input into their teaching and learning process.
