This event was hosted by Rian Noor and Reychando Rintar, which was held live on Instagram @lsbajakarta @stalks_channel and @andrejsagala from 15.00 to 16.00 WIB.

Mr. Andre Sagala, who is usually called Bang J by friends at London School Radio as well as staff and management at the LSPR campus, is a lecturer and also being as Deputy head of the Station Manager of London School Radio and Beyond Radio.

The thing that made Bang J able to enter the world of radio was because of he was inspired and motivated by his parents who had been the Station Manager of London School Radio, then from there he started joining the Radio club from the first semester and in 2011 he was served as a President of the radio club. Had participated in a competition to find radio broadcasters held by Prambors Radio, but only lasted until the top 25, then 3 days later he got a call from HRD who is still in the same management as Prambors Radio, offering to do an internship at Delta FM radio.

Bang J added that what you have to learn if you want to be a good radio broadcaster is to master general knowledge, the goal is to have a lot of information that can be distributed to listeners. Then the second is a good mastery of the language, and the most important is by building social networks. The ability to seek information from credible sources, read and understand social media, find out what is currently being discussed in the community, have literacy skills, analyze and filter information are the needed skills to become a radio broadcaster.

Lastly, Bang J’s advice for those who want to become a radio announcer is to do these 3 easy things is observe, imitate and modify, then read and practice often.
