Jakarta – LSPR Communication and Business Institute with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) announced the winners of the digital tourism competition. The national scale competition entitled “Kharisma Event Nusantara” is divided into three categories, namely photos, videos and digital illustrations. The announcement of the winner of this competition is done virtually.

This digital tourism competition is organized by the Tourism Studies Program, LSPR Business Faculty together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy as a form of support for the recovery of Indonesian tourism. The beauty and diversity of cultural arts displayed at tourism events can be enjoyed by the public through photos, videos and digital illustrations.

In total there were hundreds of works submitted by the participants for these three categories. These works were then selected by a jury consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Yuliana R. Prasetyawati, Deputy for Tourism Products and Event Organizers of Ayahrekraf, Rizki Handayani Mustafa, MBTM, senior photographer Arbain Rambey, broadcaster Patricia Reineta, and Vice Head of Undergraduate Program in Tourism LSPR, Jati Paras Ayu. From the 17 semifinalists, winners from each category were selected. The winners of each category will receive prizes in the form of money, trophies and certificates. The following are the winners from each category:

Photo Category Winners:

  • Winner I- Arjudin with a photo-themed “The Indonesian Umbrella Festival is lively”.
  • Second Place – Ivo Fajar Samsumar with a photo themed “Banyuwangi Ethno Carnival”.
  • 3rd Place – I Wayan Yatika with a photo with the theme “Weaving Dance”.

Digital Illustration Winner:

  • Winner I- Aidah Rahmah Zahrani with work with the theme “Umbrella Festival”.
  • 2nd Place – M. Shanolaf Malik with work with the theme “Umbrella Festival”.
  • 3rd Place – I Wayan Yatika with a photo with the theme “Weaving Dance”.

Video Category Winners:

  • Winner I- Larasati Puspita Dewi.
  • Second Place – Dharma Sucipto.

Rector of LSPR Dr. Andre Ikhsano congratulated the winners of this competition. He hopes that this digital event will not reduce the substance of this activity. “Congratulations to the winners, I hope that information about tourism activities in Indonesia can be disseminated massively through existing digital platforms,” ​​he said. Dr. Andre also thanked the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for their trust in working with LSPR. He hopes this event can revive Indonesian tourism. “Thanks to Kemenparekraf and hopefully our tourism can bounce back,” he said.

Meanwhile, Director of National and International Events of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Dessy Ruhati stated that the works displayed were very good. This event can also be used as a cure for homesickness because many tourism events have been delayed. According to him, the works displayed at the event were very inspiring. “Congratulations to the winners. Hopefully, this can support Indonesian tourism in the future,” she said.
