Jakarta – LSPR in collaboration with its global university partners held a series of info sessions to jumpstart and ignite their road to being a global citizen entitled “Study Abroad Spotlight: Set Yourself Apart, Your International Journey Starts Here at LSPR!”. Following the opening ceremony which was held on Friday, 24 September 2021, the Study Abroad Spotlight has successfully implemented a total of 7 sessions within the first week of the series!

Starting on Monday, 27 September 2021, the first session was in collaboration with  Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. Featuring M. Hamzani Bin Mohamed Izzamudin and M. Fadhli Abdul Rahman discussed the availability of the Virtual Students Exchange or Open and Distance Learning (ODL) if they still do not have the opportunity to fly to Malaysia next year.

Tuesday, 28 September 2021, the second and third session collaboration with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia and  The Hague University of Applied Science (THUAS), Netherlands respectively. Ir. Dr. Lim Jee Hock from UTAR emphasizes the facilities for the International student exchange such as Student Buddy Program, accomodations, tourist and culture program, etc.

Drs. Barry Verbeek from The Hague University, Netherlands alongside Claudia, LSPR Student Batch 23 who is currently in THUAS for her exchange program emphasized the International student’s life in THUAS and Netherlands, from the Asia market, estimated expenses and also the learning culture.

The participants

Session 4, UCSI University, Malaysia and session 5 was participated by Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia focusing on several options about accommodation and campus options around Malaysia. Several programs such as multicultural night, study tour, career fair, pathway, and others.

Mr. Kenneth Quah represented the EU Business School for Session 6 on Thursday, 30 September 2021 and he explained about the program especially for LSPR Students, the Study Abroad Program and the Dual Degree Program. The other uniqueness is that if you enroll yourself in the EU Business School you could choose what campus university you wish to study as EU has 4 campuses, Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, and Munich. The Dual Degree Program with EU consists of 2 types, the 3+1 program if you wish you enrol yourself for BA in Communication & PR and 2+2 program for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

The last session for the first week of the Study Abroad Spotlight featured Woosong University Solbridge International Business School, South Korea. Partnering with Ms. Rezia Usman and Mr. Ridho shared about the international environment in Woosong University with 2000+ international students,  60+ nationalities and 200+ international professors located in Daejeon, the Silicon Valley. Also a special offer exclusively for LSPR Students will get a 50% scholarship for the tuition fee for studying abroad in Woosong alongside with the dormitories and quarantine fee.
