Jakarta – LSPR Communication & Business Institute held its first hybrid seminar on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 with strict health protocols. In collaboration with the Institute of Tourism & International Business (IPBI) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Indonesia Chapter, this seminar has the theme “Sustainable Rural Tourism”
This event was attended by 30 participants at Auditorium LSPR Bali and 70 online participants. The event was opened by Ms. Gesille Sedra Buot-Zambrano, MBA., as Executive Director of LSPR Institute Bali, Inspirational Speech by IPBI Rector, Dr. I Made Sudjana, S.E., MM., CHT., CHA., and also Opening Remarks by Ms. Yuliana R. Prasetyawati, M.M., as the Dean of the LSPR Institute’s Business Faculty.
The keynote speaker of this event was Mrs. Martiningsih Agung Chandra, M.Si as the Secretary General of the PATA Indonesia Chapter. The event talked about sustainable rural tourism which can provide benefits for the economic development of the surrounding community, including creating jobs, additional income, while preserving environmental assets and cultural heritage.
