Jakarta – A talk show about autism’s awareness was held last Thursday, October 21st 2021 by RADIATE, autism campaign. The speakers are Prof. Dr. dr. Tjhin Wiguna, spKJ (K) and Prischa Nova, M. Psi., Psi. Keisha Anabel Garnette founder of RADIATE, was the moderator of the talk show.

The talk show started with explanations from Dr. Tjhin Wiguna about autism symptoms. Autism symptoms are usually seen at the age of 1-2 years old. These are some unusual habits from those who have autism. Repetition in moving, talking not fluently  less aware of the environment, and many more. It would be much better if autism symptoms are known earlier, so that actions could be taken to help the child’s growth process.

In this pandemic era, everyone couldn’t do their activities normally, and so those who have autism. But it doesn’t mean that they can’t do anything at home. We could teach them through educational videos, or learn with fun while at home to keep them productive and learned.
