Jakarta – LSPR graduated 440 selected students from 142 universities in Indonesia in the subjects of Public Speaking & Personal Branding and Entrepreneurship & Leadership on October 29, 2021. Closing Ceremony and Showcase KMMI was created in commemoration of the Youth Pledge Day with the theme “United, Rise, and Grow to Become a Superior Indonesian Generation”. The implementation of this KMMI is the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, the Directorate General of Higher Education. KMMI LSPR was attended by 240 selected students for the subject of Public speaking & Personal Branding, while for the subject of Entrepreneurship & Leadership, 200 selected students from all universities in Indonesia participated.
The LSPR Communication and Business Institute in this case continue to strive to develop the quality and quality of its education to produce graduates who are competent, independent, creative, innovative and have special skills to compete at the global level. One of them is realized through the Indonesian Student Micro-Credential (KMMI) program. Presented by Rector of LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Dr. Andre Ikhsano, “KMMI LSPR focuses on upscaling and skill upgrading programs to prepare students who have superior competencies between the campus world and the industrial or business world. I would like to thank the course lecturers, practitioner lecturers and tutors who participated. Thanks to the 440 students who participated. This pandemic situation must be used by students to participate in useful activities. Excellent students, who are actively participating in the KMMI program, Student Creativity Week, active in organizations, actively building networking and thirsting for self-development.”
Based on the KMMI LSPR report from the chief executive and the Dean of LSPR Business Faculty, Mrs. Yuliana R. Prasetyawati said, “KMMI LSPR has successfully screened 440 students from 142 universities in Indonesia. KMMI LSPR accommodates 86% from universities in the western part of Indonesia, 13.3% in central Indonesia, and 0.7% in eastern Indonesia. The learning process is carried out by involving students interactively based on concepts and skills to suit the needs of the Industrial World of the Business World. Teaching materials are delivered using teaching and learning activity modules that are implemented effectively following the syllabus that has been prepared. In addition, students are given individual and group assignments to hone their ability to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes to be ready to compete in the Industrial World. For the subject of Entrepreneurship & Leadership, students are given the task of proposing the establishment of a business that can be realized later. Then for the subject of Public Speaking & Personal Branding, students are trained and given practical assignments to become professional Public Speakers.”
The quality of the implementation of KMMI LSPR stated that the results were very good, this was conveyed by Mrs. Yuliana as Chair adding “KMMI LSPR surveyed students who have participated, Reliability, Ability to provide services according to student needs, Empathy, Lecturers and Tutors understand the interests and difficulties of students thus monitoring student progress, Tangibles, quality of academic system services that facilitate students in the online learning process, Assurance, Students believe that all KMMI Lecturers and Tutors are believed to be competent in solving problems and Responsiveness, Lecturers and Tutors are very responsive in responding and providing feedback to students .”
In today’s closing ceremony, KMMI LSPR awarded certificates to the 33 best participants from eleven Public Speaking & Personal Branding classes and Entrepreneurship & Leadership classes. In addition, the best students get additional appreciation from KMMI LSPR partners with a total of Rp. 11,000,000 from PT. IFS Integration Solution. For a total of 440 students, KMMI participation certificates were also given appreciation as a portfolio that will help student skills and will also be of relevance between universities and the business world.

Susmantoro expressed his gratitude and pride in having the opportunity to participate in the Indonesian Student Micro-Credential (KMMI) program organized by LSPR, as one of the leading universities in Indonesia. “As users of graduates produced by universities, we feel the need to participate and contribute to be a part in preparing and producing the nation’s children who are more ready to enter the business world or industry, either as professionals or as entrepreneurs. Hopefully, this program can continue to be run on an ongoing basis so that later a real link and match can be generated between education and the business world, of course, by producing nation’s children who are more prepared, qualified and able to compete at the global level.”
One of the best Public Speaking & Personal Branding students delivered a very useful testimonial related to the implementation of the KMMI LSPR program. Annisa Rizkyta, a student of International Relations at the University of Jember said “For me, teaching and learning process is very lively, comfortable, and engaging, we are given space to be active in class, not just passively listening to the material. Through this program, it is hoped that in the future it will produce Outstanding student graduates who are ready to win the challenges of an increasingly complex world and lead this country to become a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
