Jakarta – Friday, 5 November 2021, LSPR held the 2nd session of the 3rd LSPR OMNI series in collaboration with Zealand Academy of Technologies & Business, Denmark.
The second session featured Mr. Daniel Hilleberg, Assistant Professor at Zealand Academy of Technologies & Business, Denmark and was moderated by Ms. Nadine Samala, lecturer from LSPR Communication and Business Institute.
In this session, Mr. Daniel Hilleberg stated that one of the important aspects of brand activation is how we can adjust it to the visuals of the targeted audience. It is important to put up the right perception from the targeted audience’s point of view, how the mind catches the message of the story. We need to make sure to deliver it in creative and appealing simulations to the targeted audience senses.
We need to analyze the trends, culture, and story behind the targeted audience in order to communicate our brand effectively. One of the elements that plays an important role in communicating the brand identity is colors. As we know, visuals are hard to please because everyone has various preferences, to excel in visuals we need to play with the colors. Colors play a big impact in the eyes, we can adjust it to meet our expectations and create a better ambience or feelings towards the brand.
There is no dictionary that explains the color’s meaning or the guidance of colors, but it is the beauty of process, we are the one who needs to analyze, finding the right crossing points, and the connections between the targeted audience and our brands.
LSPR OMNI is part of a lecturer exchange programme, an initiative to balance the student’s online and offline academic learning in addressing the “new normal” environment. LSPR OMNI is similar to LSPR Lecturer Exchange Programme, however due to travel restrictions, we wanted to continue the implementation by making this available online. LSPR OMNI started in 2020 where international lecturers come and teach LSPR students through online classes. This year, LSPR OMNI will be held from 29th October 2021 until 17th December 2021. The distinctiveness of this year’s session of LSPR OMNI is that the sessions are available for all LSPR students without any limitation. We want to reach and invite all LSPR students to join and take learning beyond borders.
