Synopsis :
A Silhouette is typing on their computer in the dark, their identity is unknown. Downtown, Lydia Iskandar, an aspiring fashion and lifestyle influencer is vlogging in a park while showing off her outfits for the newest video on her YouTube channel. While Carmen, her longtime best friend, prefers to be behind the scenes as the videographer. On the way to the mall, Lydia starts a Livestream on her Instagram, she then notices one of her followers is pointing out that she is being talked about on an online forum, but she tells the follower to not worry and encourages the stream watchers to just spread positivity. When she gets home, she opens her laptop and looks for the forum, weirdly calm, she looks at the username and it seems that she recognizes the profile. After letting out a small chuckle laugh, she goes to bed.
A few days pass and Lydia wakes up from a notification on her phone. When she opens to check what’s going on, the newest post on the forum disclosed information about her alleged debts and it was trending on Twitter. Anxious, she opens twitter to see hundreds of people retweeting and reposting the forum and supposed evidence in the form of a blurry photo of receipts. Not long after her friends start to message and call her asking if she’s seen it or whether or not she’s okay. After all that, she goes to a meeting for an upcoming sponsorship, but the company decides to postpone the deal due to the viral controversy. Frustrated, she leaves and opens the forum post and notices Carmen being mentioned in the comments by her fans, saying how she might be the “secret hater” and posting screenshots of Carmen’s face looking like she was displeased during a Livestream. She lets out her sadness to her friend group about how her problems regarding her past debts are leaked and she starts to mention that Carmen is suspected by her followers to be behind the leaks. All her friends, including her longtime crush Rafi, deny the allegation as they believe Carmen would never do such a thing.
The next day, Carmen is shocked to see that the latest forum post discussed a drunk driving incident of her father that caused several deaths. She keeps refreshing the comments and new ones keep coming in. Her friends’ group video called her in disbelief. This sparked a problem for Carmen as most of their friends are starting to switch sides as they believe only she would know a story about Lydia as specific as this.
One day, Rafi comes to her house to see how Carmen is doing after all the accusations against her. As he was wiping down the tears falling on her face, Lydia barges in and is immediately heart broken with the sight. Both of them fall into a heated argument that leaves the relationship of the pair bestfriend completely damaged. It continues with the sound of phones ringing before it turns to silence. The silhouette in the first scene picks up the phone and it is revealed that Lydia is the one behind every single thing. At the same time, Carmen was about to sleep when she dropped her glass of water, realizing that a picture of her kissing her lecturer was all over the internet.
The story ends with a police officer ringing Lydia’s doorbell to take her to the police station. While scared and shocked her phone rings once again but this time by an unknown number. She picks up the phone with hesitation and it turns out Carmen knew it was her all along and has reported her to the police regarding Carmen’s defamation.
