Jakarta The COVID-19’s pandemic that has hit the whole world, especially Indonesia, has yet to see its end. Even recently, Indonesia has entered a new phase of COVID-19, a new variant, named Omicron. Last month, the number of cases in Indonesia decreased, but now the number of COVID-19’S cases has soared again. Various efforts have been made to stop the spread of the virus, starting from staying at home, using masks, and vaccinating up to 3 times. But in reality, the pandemic is still not over.

Of course, the education sector has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the LSPR Communication and Business Institute has not been spared. On Friday, February 18, 2021, the CEO and Founder of LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Mrs. Dr. (HC). Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, was invited to share her experience on “Pandemic Communications in the Campus World” by the Public Communications Task Force with Mr. Troy Pantouw, S.Psi, MA, FPR, as Head of the STPC-19 Public Communication Sub-Section, as the MC.

LSPR has been providing distance learning (PJJ) since 2015, but it is still not easy when all teaching and learning activities on campus are switched to online. Offline activities on campus such as choir, dance, theatre, which are usually carried out offline, of course, are not easy when they have to be turned into online activities. At the beginning of the pandemic, of course, LSPR was also aware of reducing the number of Covid-19 spreads, LSPR itself had a COVID-19 task force team to help provide information about COVID-19. Health protocols are also very strictly implemented at LSPR, in order to reduce the risk of transmission in the campus area.
