BALI – 30 May 2022 – 2 June 2022, Hospitality and Tourism Business Student Batch 1 Semester 4 has carried out a Field Trip to one of the best Destinations in Indonesia, namely Bali. Fieldtrip activities are one of the activities owned by the LSPR Tourism Study Program which aims in addition to gaining insight into product knowledge in the Tourism sector directly, therefore with field trips it can introduce Tourism products, namely Tourism Villages, Policy Stakeholders, MICE Venues, and as practice material. in implementing the theory obtained, as well as additional knowledge other than theory while studying the subject obtained.
This Fieldtrip activity was carried out by the 4th semester students majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Business. The LSPR Tourism Study Program visited various kinds of tourist attractions in Bali, while the intended destinations during the Bali Fieldtrip were Panglipuran Tourism Village, Bali Provincial Office, Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation , LSPR Bali, Tanamera Coffee Workshop and Nusa Penida Trip. This fieldtrip activity is complemented by Guest Lecture activities from resource persons at each destination. Resource persons provide knowledge and views on the destination and current tourism developments.
This visitation activity collaborates with several classes which are integrated on the subject of Developing Sustainable Destinations, Business and Corporate Events, and Attraction and Destination Promotion. In learning these subjects, students have learned the basic principles of Sustainable Tourism, How to Promote a Destination, and various types of Corporate Business at Events. So that during the visit, students will gain real knowledge in the tourism business.
This Bali fieldtrip is the second industrial visit from the Tourism study program, where previously this Batch 1 Student of Hospitality and Tourism Business had made an industrial visit to JIEXPO and Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran at the end of 2021. The Bali Fieldtrip activity was the second visitation activity and was accompanied by Ms Jati Paras Ayu, MM. Par and Ms Vitha Octavanny, MM.Par.
