Jakarta – LSPR 4C held a competition titled “From You To Earth” event for high school students throughout Jabodetabek. The event aims to raise awareness of natural resources that have not been fully managed properly so that there must be real action to make changes for a better environment. This competition is a business innovation competition where participants are given time to prepare business innovations related to Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) points, especially SDG #9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure), #11 (sustainable cities and communities), #12 (responsible consumption and production), #13 (climate action), #14 (life below water), #15 (life on land) in groups of 4 people and presented in the form of a pitch deck directly to the judges. Registration for the competition was opened on April 3, 2023 – April 24, 2023, with a Technical Meeting held on April 26, 2023, and submission of Pitch Deck and Infographics on May 6, 2023. The presentation to the judges was held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, located at the LSPR Transpark campus, Bekasi, precisely at the Conference Room Lt. 5 for the competition session and pitching to the judges, and Exhibition Room Lt. 5 for the waiting room and the opening session, coffee break, performance from LSPR Band, lunch, and announcement of the winners. There were 7 groups that registered for the "From You To Earth” competition, namely Strada Bhakti Wiyata High School, 2 groups from Highfield Bekasi High School, Fons Vitae 1 High School, Ananda Bekasi, Marsudirini Bekasi High School, and Highscope TB Simatupang. However, a group from Highscope TB Simatupang was declared a walk-out because they were not present at the competition. The entire event was attended by 4 groups of participants with 1 accompanying teacher each, 8 members of the LSPR 4C Executive Committee, 15 volunteers, 2 MCs, Emmanuela Sekarlangit and Aisha Maharani as PIC for Communities, Ramadhanty Cahyaning Rizky as the Club Coordinator, David Simeon as Head of BEM LSPR, the three competition judges, namely Ms. Patricia Vicky Sihombing, M.Si, Sir Yoseph Wahyu Kurniawan, M.I.Kom, and Indeka Dharma Putra from BW KEHATI Foundation, as well as representatives from LSPR FTVC and LSPR News. The event activities began with registration at 10.00, opening at 11.00, group sessions 1-3 at 13.20, coffee break and performance from LSPR Band at 15.00, continued with group presentations 4-6, then lunch at 16.00, and there was the awarding of judges plaques and announcement of winners so that the event ended at 18.30. The 1st winner of this competition was won by Ananda Bekasi High School with an award in the form of a certificate and 1 semester scholarship at LSPR, 2nd place was won by Fons Vitae 1 High School with an award in the form of a certificate and Rp. 5,000,000, and 3rd place winner by Strada Bhakti Wiyata High School with an award in the form of a certificate and money of Rp. 3,000,000. Information about the “From You To Earth Competition” event was announced through LSPR 4C Instagram and invitation letters were distributed via e-mail to various high schools in the JABODETABEK area.
