The Institute of Communication and Business LSPR (LSPR) has officially formed a Task Force dedicated to addressing issues of intolerance, bullying, and corruption within its academic community. This initiative was formalized in a Rector’s Decree, signed by Dr. Andre Ikhsano, M.Si, the Rector of LSPR, on May 29, 2023. The decision comes in recognition of the fundamental right of every member of the LSPR academic community to live, study, and work in an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and unethical behavior. The Rector’s Decree emphasizes that these efforts are crucial to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and ethical campus atmosphere that reflects the values enshrined in Pancasila and the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

The establishment of the Task Force is aimed at preventing and effectively addressing intolerance, bullying, and corruption at LSPR. It will work to create proactive policies and strategies to maintain a healthy, respectful, and inclusive academic environment. The initiative aligns with national regulations, such as the Indonesian Human Rights Law (1999), the National Education System Law (2003), and the Higher Education Law (2012), which underscore the importance of promoting human dignity and ethical standards in educational institutions.

The Task Force will be led by Taufan Teguh Akbari, Ph.D., who will serve as Chair, with Dr. Janette Maria Pinariya, MM, as Vice Chair, and Mayke Angelica, S.I.Kom, as Secretary. The group also includes Dr. Yolanda Stellarosa, M.Si as Coordinator, along with several other key members, including Mikhael Yulius Cobis, M.Si, Yuliana Riana Prasetyawati, MM, and Dr. Yovi Bathesta. The Task Force’s work will be divided into three specific areas: anti-intolerance, anti-bullying, and anti-corruption, with members specifically appointed to focus on each of these issues. Among the members are Prischa Nova, M.Psi, Ira Bintarto, Hanny Mustika Dhea, Adelina Maudina Amada, Rafiuddin Andi Akil, M.Si, and Moh. The Rector’s Decree also outlines the responsibility of the Task Force to carry out its mission with full accountability, collaborating closely with LSPR’s administration to implement its strategies effectively. The Task Force is expected to address these pressing issues in a manner that fosters long-term positive change at the institution. The decree, which takes effect immediately, underscores LSPR’s unwavering commitment to maintaining an academic environment of respect, safety, and integrity for all students, faculty, and staff. Should any errors be found in the Decree, they will be corrected promptly. This initiative marks a significant step in LSPR’s dedication to fostering an educational environment that supports the personal and professional growth of its students while upholding the highest standards of social responsibility and ethics.
