Saturday, April 12th, 2015 London School Beyond Academy presented a theater performance titled “Aladdin”. The story of Aladdin and the magic lamp to closed the series of event for LSPR Autism Awareness Festival 7th  at Prof. Dr Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall, LSPR.

Directed by Dean of Performing Arts Communication, Mrs. Renata Tirta Kurniawan, the theater tells about the adventures of a young man, named Aladdin to win the heart of a Kingdom Princess named  Jasmine. Popular story that comes from  Middle East was performed by 19 students with special needs for about 1 hour on stage.

Mrs. Chrisdina Wempi as Head of London School Centre of Autism Awareness and LSBA said, through this performances, LSBA students is expected to complement their existing skills with soft skills such as collaboration within a team to show a performance. Every year, LSCAA hold an Autism Awareness Festival (AAF) a series of events that aim to increased interest and knowledge of the public about autism, in addition to the AAF also be a place for children with special needs for their talents, especially in the fields of art such as painting, singing and playing musical instrument.

In organizing this seventh year, AAF presented a series of events that started last March which consists of Music Competition, Seminars, Performing Arts, Movie Screening and Drama Musical Aladdin as closing the performance. (Uzlifat, James Matulingas)
