In 2014-2015 International Affairs for Academic Collaboration (IAAC) has been running the International Academic Study Program. One of the LSPR students who were selected to join Study Abroad, is Putri Nur Amalina shared her experiences during study in August 2014 until December 2014.
Before departing on 16 Agustsus 2014, Putri must go through several stages of selection until chosen to participate in Study Abroad for one semester at Lewis Clarke State College, United States of America. Batch of 16 student majoring in Mass Communication expressed, many things she learned while there, such as language, culture, and networking. Putri also attended various events held by LCSC (Lewis Clarke State College) such as, Student Orientation, Human VS Zombie, Thanksgiving Party, Halloween Party, Basketball and Volleyball match, Multi-Cultural Week.
Before occupied the facilities provided by the University’s dormitory, when arriving in the USA, Putri first lived with host family who have house around the area of the University of Lewis Clarke State. Putri greatly enjoyed living with her three friends in the Clearwater Dorm, because in addition to improving English language skills, she also learned about the different cultures there.
Putri Nur Amalina followed Study Abroad program with the aim to increase knowledge related to the department of Mass Communication. Putri not too encountered significant difficulties during college there, because she can blend in with the environment around Lewis Clarke State College, United States of America.
