On Wednesday, 25 November 2015 LSPR cafeteria held Kongkow Bareng with Albert Fakdawer as the special guest. This singer is not only known for his amazing soothing voice, but also famous for his first feature film, Denias. The 22 year old has been long gone performing his songs ever since he joined AFI Junior in 2004, he’s worked with singers such as Glenn Fredly and Barry Likumahuwa.
Albert opened Kongkow Bareng with a cover of Let’s Stay Together by Al Green. He said that his parents played a huge role in his musical career, as they are also singers. Currently he is busy with his upcoming album, which will launch next year, one of the songs from his new album is dedicated to his beloved father.
His talent was also put to the test as one of the audience asked him to make a song right then and there, and he was able to deliver this very smoothly.
He continued by performing, an original – Aku Bosan and Menunggumu. He wished that today’s youth will continue supporting local artists as Indonesia is filled with rich talent and musicians.
