Saturday, 16 January 2016, as part of the 16th LSPR Theatre Festival, first year students of LSPR Jakarta performed a theatre production, and on that night, it was from class 19 – 21A, performing My One and Only.

The theatre production tells the story from the point of view of Scout, Marilyn Monroe’s lover, they met one night while Marilyn was ‘incognito’ and soon their affair became the highlight of their days. He became her pet companion on set, helping her with lines and secretly providing whiskey from his own mother. Keeping up with Marilyn Monroe was not easy, especially for a 15-year-old virgin like Scout. But years after Marilyn’s death, something unexpected began to unfold, answering all the questions he’s had all these years…

The class performed smoothly in front of a packed auditorium, the theatre festival is a part of the the first years’ students final examination for the class Introduction to Performing Arts Communication.
