The show was opened by a dance number typical of Padang who wowed the audience. Siti was just a beautiful girl from Padang when facebook became a trend society. Siti met someone from Jakarta named Bahri on facebook and later on they fell in love and Bahri told that he would marry her. All is well until her parents said that they set her up with a wealthy merchant because of their family’s debt. Feeling dissapointed and shocked, she left her parents and went to Jakarta to find Bahri.
In Jakarta, she did not meet with Bahri. But she was almost used as a prostitute and fortunately saved by a man named Datuk Maringgih. However, Datuk is not a good man. Datuk almost killed Siti. Siti leave and return to her hometown. In the hometown, her father knew that Siti is in love with a man named Bahri. Her father also appeared to be marrying Siti with Bahri. The wedding day arrived. Bahri came up with traditional clothing typical of Padang, and applying for Siti. However, this story ended tragically because Bahri is touted by her father was not the Bahri she was looking for, but Datuk Maringgih she’d ever met in Jakarta. End of story, the stage went dark and the sound of screaming Siti immediately put an end to this theater. (Anita/Gazi)
