A sharing session with Dr. Shiro Sato, a lecturer of International Politics at Osaka International University. The purpose of the event is to discuss the relationship between Japan and Asia. The event was held last Friday, 11 March 2016 at Rafael Jolongbayan Room Campus B, LSPR Jakarta.
Dr. Shiro Sato presented Politics Among Discourses of Non-Western IR the struggle for Power and Knowledge. Dr. Shiro Sato said, western International relations refers to the hegemony of struggling for particularity. While Asian international relations refers to the hegemony of struggling for universality. This shows that western international relations can give an impact to Asian countries.
This event was hosted by Ms. Gesille S Buot, Programme Director for International Relations & Partnership Office and it was attended by Lecturers and Management of LSPR-Jakarta. In addition to the presentation of Dr. Shiro Sato, the participants also asked questions to Dr. Shiro Sato (Citra)
