A Room with A Clue

Thursday, July 28, 2016 – A room with the clue is a theater by 19-4A held in Prof. DR. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall. Telling about the room of judgment for those who are undergoing a coma in hospital, the theater is presented like puzzle games. Audiences are invited to guess who is the players which will be sent to go to heaven and who is the players which will be sent to hell? Or players who will be sent back to live a real life.

A man named Eddie come into the waiting room named St. Peter’s in London. Inside the room there is an old named Herbie who is waiting for his wife, Bella, who is facing “doctor”. After registering, Eddie is waiting for his turn. During that time, Sally is entering the room with super strange style and stirring debate with Woody. Sherly sings and says things about this mysterious waiting room. Sherly puts through the same thing when she meets Amanda.

The situation went back to normal when Sally is permitted by the “doctor” to go home. Amanda and Woody shared stories, Amanda talks about the reason why she could come to this place. Also Woody talk about his painful past. After some time Amanda is overlooking the “doctor”, after meeting him, she gets the card to go home. Before leave, Amanda conveys the message to Woody about the meaning of this waiting room. For her, waiting room in St Peter’s is a good time to think about life. After waiting for the Consultation Woody is finally getting a card where he should go.

Set design stage theater “A Room With A Clue” fitted with a door to hell, heaven, or go back to the real world. Every each of the players will get a card that will unlock the door. The moral in this theater is very deep. Cards that they will get, depending on what is undertaken by the players at the time before facing coma. (Anita / Gazi)
