Mr & Ms LSPR 2016 Coronation Night

Hard work, effort, sweat, time, all of them exerted with full passion and effort. Usually, students are free from any duty when the clock hits 6 in the evening, but not for them.

Axcell, one of the contestant of Mr & Ms LSPR 2016 gave his answer at the Q&A session.

Quarantine, which includes in different forms of training; acting, singing, dancing, and physical training, all had to be bared for 6 months. And finally, on the 28th of September 2016 at Prof Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall, came the time for them to shine.

Time to prove everyone the results of those sweat and tears days they had to go through together. This, is the story of the journey of Mr & Ms LSPR 2016 Coronation Night.

The National Anthem marks the start of the night, continued with Traditional Costume Parade by all finalists of Mr & Ms LSPR 2016. The MCs for the night, 1st Runner Up of Mr & Ms LSPR 2012 Mr. Demas Ryan, and 1st Runner Up of Mr & Ms LSPR 2013, Ms. Patricia Ranieta welcomes the audience who attend the night.

A speech from last year’s Mr & Ms LSPR, Mr. Bukie Manysur and Ms. Jazlyn Carera further welcomes the audience, as well as explaining the true meaning of the event.

The finalists took the stage again to perform a combined dance. The performance told a story about two individuals with different cultural background. They got attracted to each other, and finally managed to unite, creating a wonderful couple. The screams and supports from the audience was echoing the room, as the event goes on.

The finalists continued with the event by reciting quotation from various popular figures in the world, followed by the last parade of the twenty finalists, before being cut into the top ten finalists. The top ten finalists had to go through the Q&A sessions, given by the judges. Aside from familiar faces of Mr. Immanuel Hutagalung-Deputy Director III and Ms. Renata Tirta-Dean of Performing Arts of Communication, guest judges were from Femina Magazine, Mrs. Anggia Hapsari and also the 1st Runner Up of Putri Indonesia 2015 Chintya Fabyola also asked questions to the top ten finalists. The solid answers from the finalists again cued the screams of supporters from the audience.

Gloria Jessica and Rani Rahmadany sang a few oasis song.

Guest stars Rani Ramadhany and Gloria Jessica further increase the hype at the auditorium by performing songs from Oasis. And then, all the finalists took the stage for one last time together to showcase the collaboration of their talents. The Mr & Ms LSPR 2015 took the stage for last time, as a symbol of the end of their duty as the ambassador of LSPR. MCs finally opened the last segment of the night. The segment everyone has been waiting for. The Announcement of the Winners and The Coronation Night.
