Kuliah Umum FPCI

FPCI or Community of Indonesian Foreign Policy is a non-profit and non-politically organization engaged in the field of international relations and its open to all public. FPCI facilitate a space that brings together students, faculties, foreign ministries and other departments that have an international dimension, the diplomatic corps, businessmen (Indonesian and international) and think tanks, journalists and all people engaged in the field of international relations.

Prof. Andrzej Zybertowiczs explained about how a data can affect individuals that can be manipulated

One of FPCI activities collaboration with universities is Public Lecture with Prof. Andrzej Zybertowiczs that was held at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall on October 11, 2016. The event’s theme was “Big Data – New Potential for Mind Control acre Big Data Artificial Intelligence to Become a New structure of Political Power”.

In this event, Prof. Andrzej Zybertowiczs explained about how a data can affect individuals that can be manipulated. Here, the meaning of data is the social media and internet in the modern era that has extremely big influence and impact on our lives today. It also explained about the negative and positive impacts of the Internet. Prof. Andrzej Zybertowiczs also gave an example of the effect, which in this case is the usage of Uber, an online transportation application that has made individuals to travel with ease. (Khori/Triesya)
