Indian Mission to ASEAN: Meet The ASEAN Dialogue Partner

 “A successful bureaucrat or politician is the one who can be partners with the media. Sounding government messages using media as the medium, to spread it out into the public mass,” said Mr. Suresh K. Reddy, ambassador of Indian Mission to Asean, and a Media Delegate from India, in his visit to LSPR last Thursday 15 December 2016, titled “ Meet The ASEAN Dialogue Partner”. The sharing session visit lasted for almost an hour, took place at Studio Media Center, Campus B LSPR Jakarta.

The session was focused on the topics surrounding the media, such as the importance of establishing credibility as a media person, and how vital it is to do basic research and background check of the source before conducting an interview. Mr Suresh Reddy pointed out that these two factors are the deciding factors to determine how successful someone will be when working in the media.

Mr. Suresh also explained how media in the world today are heavily affected by the activity of all social media users in the world, with the U.S President Election as an example. The session continued with Q & A session by all the participants. After the Q&A session was done, the sharing session moving on to discussing how the media should act as an important part of the society today. (Tarrasch/Anita)
