Christmas Celebration 2016

On Thursday, 22 December 2016, The LSPG club held a Christmas Night event in the Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall, LSPR B Jakarta. Besides LSPG member and the students, many guests came to the event. There were delegation from the Student League, FOMS, KMB, Mr & Ms LSPR, Alumni, and some LSPR Students’ parents. The event opened by the head of committee, Livia Hartanto. She delivered her welcoming speech to all the guests. Then the President of SL 2016-2017, Clara Tirta Wijaya, also delivered her speech about Christmas, continued by Deputy Director 3, Mr. Imanuel Hutagalung.

After some speeches for the opening, Christian Santoso, LSPG Coordinator, lead an opening prayer. After that, LSPR Choir brought to us a special performance. LSPR Choir sang two songs, and also a musical poetry from Dr. Janette Maria Prinariya, S.Si, MM accompanied with LSPR Senior Band who also brought some songs to lived roof up. After performances from LSPR Choir and LSPR Senior Band, all the people in the building sang some holy songs which led by worship leader. Besides some live performances, LSPG also presented a video about LSPG itself. Continued with a sermon from Mr.Daniel Zacharias about how we should treat other people. “Your words is not to destroy someone, but when someone is down, use your words to bring their spirit comes up again.” That was one of many messages that Priest told to the guests on that Holy Christmas Night.

The next one, is candle light procession accompanied with Silent Night song. After that, Priest Daniel Zacharias also lived up the night by performed some songs with Indah and Wila, and then continued with a worship. After the worship, special guest Yeshua Abraham brought to us a special performance. As a closing part, all the committee who helped the event went really well was pronounced to the guests and was applaused greatly by all the guests. (Vania/Namira).
